# Inspiration at Time Hackers

Where does inspiration come from in business? I used to wait for it. I'd sit in my office wondering when the next great idea would strike, when I'd feel motivated to create something new. Then one day I realized: if I were inspiration, I wouldn't come to me either. I wasn't showing up ready to be inspired.

This realization led to one of our core Time Hackers principles: inspiration is created, not given. I changed one thought from "I am waiting to be inspired" to "I am creating my own inspiration." That shift didn't just feel better – it transformed my results and became a cornerstone of how our coaches work with clients.

This is what led me to create Time Hackers, to develop our "Date Your Goal" framework, and to train coaches who could help others make this same mindset shift. Now, when our clients tell us they're waiting for the right time or the right feeling, our coaches help them see that they can create that feeling right now.
